Devil's Reign #1 Wonder movie poster variance features Alex Maleev's return to Daredevil and Elektra
Once more, the Marvel Universe has put a law on the books outlawing superheroes, this time in the City limits of New York City. In a preview of the upcoming Chafe's Reign #1 (of 6), Greater New York mayor Kingpin (yeah, the classic Daredevil scoundrel) has declared a unexampled natural law - 'The Powers Bi' - which makes anyone with superhuman abilities illegal, and which states anyone doing "crushing vigilantism" will be arrested aside the New York Police Department.
(Good luck with that - they can't even put cuffs on Spider-Human being).
Devil's Predominate raises the stakes in the decades-old rivalry 'tween Daredevil and Kingpin - particularly during the on-line Splintering Zdarsky/Marco Checchetto Temerarious run where Kingpin became city manager of New York City City.
Sound out this preview of Devil's Dominate #1, also by Zdarsky and Checchetto:
Fiend's Reign #1 preview
Longtime Daredevil and Spider-Man villain Headpin is at the center of Devil's Reign, and this time he has a scheme to loose "scandalous truths" and "dark secrets" some any of Marvel's most high-profile superheroes that he's unbroken to himself for years.
Thomas Woodrow Wilson Fisk is always looking for to append to his power al-Qa'ida, and the Mayor of New York Urban center uses the powers of his office to outlaw superheroes and uses the knowledge he gained as drawing card of the underworld to rock the worlds of the Fantastic Four, Ironman, Captain America, and Wanderer-Man (which May give readers an idea what titles Dark Reign will cross over with), on with Jessica Jones and Luke Coop.
He also has a new loop of the Thunderbolts from the recent 'B. B. King in Black' event - supervillains Crossbones, Taskmaster, Mary Mallon, Shocker, Whiplash, Rhino, and Kraven - at his command to make life regular more pathetic for the heroes.
"Our Daredevil plan clean kept getting bigger and bigger, to the point where IT would intelligibly affect the Marvel Universe in huge ways," Zdarsky promises in Marvel's reveal of Checchetto's cover to issue #1.
"Thankfully, Wonder recognized this also and gave Marco and I the chance to tell the narrative along a massive stage with Devil's Reign! This is a proper Wonder event springing from the pages of Daredevil and I think all Marvel readers will lie with what's coming!"
Checchetto has closed the primary cut through for Old Nick's Reign #1, with variant covers plotted by Spill the beans Momoko, John the Divin Romita Jr., Skottie Whitney Moore Young Jr., Inhyuk Lee, Marco Turini (two versions), Gerald Parel, Mark Bagley, Chip Zdarsky, Alex Maleev, and a blank variant. Here are the ones released til now:
